Why you should Climb Mount Kilimanjaro
Mount Kilimanjaro, located in Tanzania, is a breathtaking and majestic destination that offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience for adventurous travelers. Here are five compelling reasons why
Combination Safari
This 12‑Day Northern Circuit + Lake Eyasi Safari takes you through Tanzania’s full northern circuit — Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro — while adding a rare cultural encounter at Lake Eyasi. Explore iconic landscapes filled with elephants, lions, and wildebeest, then connect with the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes for a truly authentic experience. This safari blends breathtaking wildlife adventures with Tanzania’s living traditions.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where our representative will warmly welcome you. Transfer to a luxury lodge in Arusha for rest, dinner, and overnight.
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire, famous for giant baobab trees and vast elephant herds. Spend the day on game drives, spotting lions, giraffes, and zebras. Overnight in a luxury lodge inside or near the park.
Head to Lake Manyara, known for its flamingos, tree-climbing lions, and lush forests. A full-day game drive introduces you to its incredible biodiversity. Overnight in a lodge overlooking the Rift Valley escarpment.
Travel to Lake Eyasi, a remote soda lake surrounded by bushland. In the afternoon, meet the Hadzabe people — traditional hunter-gatherers — and learn about their way of life. Visit the Datoga blacksmiths, who craft tools and jewelry by hand. Overnight in a lodge near the lake.
Spend the early morning hunting or gathering with the Hadzabe, then enjoy breakfast at camp. Later, drive into the Ngorongoro Highlands for scenic views and relaxation at a lodge near the crater rim.
Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in the world. Spot rhinos, lions, wildebeest, hippos, and flamingos in this natural amphitheater. Return to your lodge for overnight on the rim.
Drive into the Serengeti, stopping at Olduvai Gorge — the “Cradle of Mankind” — where early human fossils were discovered. Continue with a game drive en route to your luxury tented camp in central Serengeti.
Spend the day exploring Serengeti’s endless plains. Morning and afternoon game drives reveal lions, cheetahs, elephants, and possibly the Great Migration (seasonal). Overnight in your luxury camp.
Another full day in the Serengeti. Optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise for a bird’s-eye view of the plains, followed by champagne breakfast. Evening game drive before returning to camp.
Depending on the time of year, head north to follow the Great Migration near the Mara River, where dramatic river crossings occur. Overnight in a luxury camp close to the migration route.
Enjoy a final morning game drive before flying back to Arusha. Overnight in a boutique lodge with beautiful gardens, a chance to rest after the safari.
After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey. End of safari.

The tour guide was so knowledgeable, charming and helpful. The park is so huge, we wish we had more days to explore, we can't wait to come back next year. Jackson Paul2024-05-18Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My wife and I did a 6 full days trip with Jovial Safaris Dickson was our guide! I would say once in a lifetime but it was so great that I plan to go back. Outside of the major goals (making it to the planned campsites) the trip was yours. If you want to watch lions stalk for 2 hours and leopards eat for 5 minutes the choice is yours. You can spend an hour watching dung beetles work. Dickson our guide shared his knowledge and was attentive to our needs. I never dreamed we would see so much in one trip. A lot is the luck of the timing (seeing a cheetah stalk, chase and take down a wildebeest for instance) but if you mention you want to see something and it's in the area Dickson will track it down. The places they chose to stay for our trip were 1st class. Never thought camping would be so nice. Meeting local Maasai and having them share their lives and views was very enlightening. I highly recommend Jovial Safari! ELISHA MHINA2024-05-11Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
