This 12-Day Full Northern Safari + Zanzibar blends the best of Tanzania’s northern safari circuit with the exotic beauty of Zanzibar. From the elephant herds of Tarangire to the endless plains of Serengeti, the flamingo-lined lakes of Manyara, and the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, every day is filled with wildlife wonders. After thrilling game drives, unwind on the spice island of Zanzibar—where white sands, turquoise waters, and cultural treasures await.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where our representative will greet you and transfer you to a luxury lodge in Arusha. Rest and prepare for the journey ahead.
Head to Tarangire National Park, known for its massive baobab trees and huge elephant herds. A full day of game drives introduces you to lions, zebras, giraffes, and abundant birdlife. Overnight in a luxury lodge inside or near the park.
Today explore Lake Manyara, famous for its tree-climbing lions and flocks of pink flamingos. The park is small but incredibly diverse, offering a mix of forest, lake, and savannah habitats. Overnight at a lodge with views of the Rift Valley.
Enjoy a relaxed day in Karatu with cultural activities—visit local farms, markets, or nearby villages. It’s a perfect balance between wildlife adventure and cultural immersion. Overnight in a boutique lodge.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s natural wonders. Spend the day tracking rhinos, lions, wildebeest, and hippos across the crater floor before returning to a lodge on the rim for spectacular views.
Travel through the highlands into the Serengeti, with game drives along the way. Arrive at your luxury tented camp in the central Serengeti, surrounded by endless plains and abundant wildlife.
A full day of exploration with morning and afternoon game drives. Depending on the season, witness the Great Migration or focus on predators like cheetahs and lions in the Seronera Valley.
Another day dedicated to Serengeti’s vast wilderness. Optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise followed by champagne breakfast. Evening game drive before returning to camp for a night under the stars.
After a final morning game drive, fly from Serengeti to Arusha and connect to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, transfer to a luxury beachfront resort. Spend the evening relaxing by the ocean.
Explore Stone Town’s winding alleys, markets, and history. In the afternoon, visit a spice plantation to discover Zanzibar’s fragrant treasures like cloves, cinnamon, and vanilla. Return to the resort for dinner.
A full day at leisure to enjoy Zanzibar’s beaches. Relax by the pool or choose optional activities such as snorkeling, diving, or a dhow sunset cruise.
Enjoy breakfast overlooking the turquoise ocean before your transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward journey.
A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
The balance must be paid in full at least 60 days before the safari start date.
Payments can be made via bank transfer or secure online payment gateway.
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 91+ days before arrival: 25% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made 61–90 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made 60 days or less before arrival: 100% cancellation fee.
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed minus bank and transaction charges.
3. Included Services
Accommodation, meals, park fees, scheduled game drives, transfers, and internal flights are included as per itinerary.
Any additional services not explicitly stated in the "Items Included" list will be charged separately.
4. Not Included
International flights, travel insurance, visa fees, gratuities, and personal expenses are not included.
Premium drinks, spa treatments, and optional activities are extra unless specified.
5. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all guests and must cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation.
6. Health & Safety
Guests are advised to consult their doctor for any required vaccinations or medications prior to travel.
Tanzania is a malaria zone; prophylactics are recommended.
7. Child Policy
Children are welcome at &Beyond Grumeti. However, children under 6 may not be allowed on shared game drives.
Child rates and private safari vehicle arrangements are available on request.
