From the moment you land at Dar es Salaam’s Julius Nyerere International Airport, you’ll be under the expert care of a dedicated Jovial Safaris guide. Settle into your comfortable hotel as you acclimatize to the Tanzanian atmosphere and prepare for an extraordinary adventure. Over the coming days, you’ll traverse iconic landscapes—exploring the wild rhythms of Nyerere (Selous) and the majestic heart of Ruaha National Park—each locale offering immersive wildlife encounters, breathtaking scenery, and serene evenings in luxurious lodgings. Get ready to experience Tanzania beyond the ordinary: where refined hospitality meets the raw pulse of nature.
Upon arrival to Dar es Salaam “The commercial port”, you will meet your Jovial Safari Professional Guide. After greetings and little information, the Guide will transfer you to the reputable Hotel for Dinner and Relaxation for a long Safari you had.
Relax and enjoy the beautiful Tanzania atmosphere, ready for the next day's trip to explore the wildlife safari. Do not be afraid to ask your Jovial Safari guide questions – he will be very happy to answer them all.
Dinner and Overnight at a Hotel in Dar es Salaam. either Hyatt Regency Dar Es Salaam, The Kilimanjaro, Sea Cliff Hotel, Johari Rotana or Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel
Early in the morning, your driver-guide will pick you up and transfer you to Dar es Salaam Airport for a domestic flight to Nyerere national park. Nyerere national park is the largest National Park in Tanzania. When arriving at your reputable accommodation, enjoy your Lunch and late afternoon you will go for a boat safari.
You will have a great chance to approach very closely and get a nice view of elephants, birds, crocodiles, and hippopotamus. After that, your guide will return you to your accommodation for meals, relaxation, and a short briefing.
Dinner and overnight at a Luxury camp in Nyerere National park of either Beho Beho Camp, Roho ya Selous or Sand Rivers Selous
After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up and transfer you to Airstrip for a domestic flight to Ruaha National Park. When you arrive at your reputable accommodation, relax a bit and enjoy your delicious lunch. Later on, your driver will pick you up for a half-day game drive.
During your game drive, you may have the chance to explore African Wild Dogs, Birds, Crocodiles, Hippopotamus, and many other Wild animals. After the game drive, your driver will take you back to your accommodation for meals, relaxation, and Briefing.
Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Ruaha National Park of Jabali Ridge
Early in the morning, your driver-guide will pick you up with your packed lunch box for a full-day game drive. On your game drive, you may have a wide chance to explore animals such as Lion, Leopard, hyenas, Elephants, African Wild Dogs, Birds, Crocodiles, and Hippopotamus.
Usually, these animals come to drink water at River Ruaha which is the main water source in Ruaha national park. After the game drive, your driver will take you back to your accommodation for meals, relaxation, and a short briefing.

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up and transfer you to Airstrip for a domestic flight to Dar es Salaam. Enjoy your Lunch at a Restaurant in Dar es Salaam, and then depending on your departure flight, your driver will transfer you to Dar es salaam International Airport.
A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
The balance must be paid in full at least 60 days before the safari start date.
Payments can be made via bank transfer or secure online payment gateway.
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 91+ days before arrival: 25% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made 61–90 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made 60 days or less before arrival: 100% cancellation fee.
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed minus bank and transaction charges.
3. Included Services
Accommodation, meals, park fees, scheduled game drives, transfers, and internal flights are included as per itinerary.
Any additional services not explicitly stated in the "Items Included" list will be charged separately.
4. Not Included
International flights, travel insurance, visa fees, gratuities, and personal expenses are not included.
Premium drinks, spa treatments, and optional activities are extra unless specified.
5. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all guests and must cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation.
6. Health & Safety
Guests are advised to consult their doctor for any required vaccinations or medications prior to travel.
Tanzania is a malaria zone; prophylactics are recommended.
7. Child Policy
Children are welcome at &Beyond Grumeti. However, children under 6 may not be allowed on shared game drives.
Child rates and private safari vehicle arrangements are available on request.
