 DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO KILIMANJARO AIRPORT

Upon arrival to Kilimanjaro airport, you will meet your Jovial Safari Professional Guide. After greetings and little information, the Guide will transfer you to the reputable Hotel in Moshi for Dinner and Relaxation after long Safari you had. Dinner and Overnight at a Hotel in Moshi.

DAY 2: MOSHI TO MACHAME CAMP (3,000m)

Drive to Machame Gate and begin ascending to Mount Kilimanjaro via Machame Route. After entry formalities complete, drive through the mist about an hour into the forest. Then we commence walking up to the verdant forest. Enjoy hearing the beautiful sounds of birds, black and white colobus monkeys. The trek is a bit long, though not very steep. It takes about 5 to 7 hours to reach to the first camp. We will spend a night at Machame Camp.

DAY 3: MACHAME CAMP TO SHIRA CAMP (3,840m)

After early breakfast, Trekking begin up to Uhuru Peak. You will reach camp after descending a small valley, then ascending to the Shira Ridge, along the way experience an adventurous of the Route and save your Memory with great experience after a total of about 4 to 5 hours of trekking.

 

DAY 4: SHIRA CAMP TO BARRANCO CAMP (3,950m)

Proceed upward over long ridgeline of dense desert for about 4 hours trekking, then break for lunch at about 4,420 meters. After lunch continue ascending to Lava Tower, in the afternoon, descend to the steep track into the Barranco Valley. Trekking time is approximately 6 to 7 hours.

DAY 5: BARRANCO CAMP TO BARAFU CAMP (4,630m)

This beautiful day trekking proceed up to ‘Barranco Wall’, it takes about 3 to 4 hours, then stop in Karanga Valley for a wonderful hot lunch. In the afternoon the temperature, grow a bit cold near Barafu Camp. Eat very well and enjoy your palatable meal at Barafu Camp.

DAY 6: BARAFU CAMP – SUMMIT (5,895m) TO MWEKA CAMP (3,110m)

The hot drink will arrive very early. Then the descending begins, approximately 12 to 17 hours of trekking. During midnight, the temperature range below the freezing point. After about 6 hours of walking, you will reach to the rim of the crater, about 5,790 meters, which is the end of the steep track. Experience a gentle slope of about 1 hour to Uhuru Peak. Taking all the way and  descend back to Barafu Camp for some rest,  take the courage and descend up to Mweka Camp for the night.

DAY 7: MWEKA CAMP – MWEKA GATE TO MOSHI

Descend all the way to the gate about 2 to 3 hours, each hiker will be rewarded an appreciation as a best Legend for climbing up to the roof of Africa. Then transfer to a Hotel in Moshi for dinner and overnight.

 DAY 8: MOSHI – ARUSHA

After breakfast, transfer back to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight.
