Part of the Jovial Safaris Mission is to give back to the community with a Medical practitioner as a Managing Director and the entire Jovial Safaris Team, we find passion in promoting medical tourism. We link experience between medical experts in developed countries and low resourced countries.
We offer a visit to hospitals along the Journey in which tourists who are inspired will open a door for volunteering and build networks for helping and supporting the advance of medicine in underdeveloped countries.
Jovial Safaris care the most for our communities and future generations by linking medical experts from all over the world with nature and the communities which protect it. There is a high difference between practicing medicine in highly resourced countries and limited resourced countries, the cultural diversities and different diseases based on the surrounding nature.
It’s a wish for every medical expert , including physicians, nurses, paramedics and others to explore more, create a network and use the holiday to learn more about medicine in Africa . The main aim is to give a medical expert as a tourist an opportunity to explore what medicine in Africa is like while on its advancement stages compared to the west , supporting local communities in the near future through volunteering by coming physically for capacity building or virtual capacity building.
Most of the volunteers always find hardship when they are planning to come to a new place for volunteering without having or understanding the actual environment and the actual challenges that they need to address as an expert or to learn new things .
Sometimes it may consume all your weeks or month’s that you have planned to volunteer to understand the environment and the Team need .
What’s our role in medical volunteering tourism activity?
Other activities will involve helping a group of medical teams with certain missions to organize a medical camping in partnership with the leading organization.
These services will be included as part of the travel itineraries . Jovial safaris will continue to provide assistance for those who will be ready to come as future volunteers to some of the medical centers which they will show interest to return for full volunteering activities .
