Combination Safari
This 10 day luxury adventure combines the best of Tanzania’s wilderness and the exotic charm of Zanzibar. Begin with an immersive safari across Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti—home to the legendary Big Five and the Great Migration. After thrilling game drives and luxurious stays in exclusive lodges, fly to Zanzibar, where pristine beaches, spice-scented breezes, and turquoise waters invite you to unwind in style.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your luxury lodge in Arusha. Enjoy a refreshing drink, a relaxed dinner, and a restful night as you prepare for the adventure ahead.
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire, famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and countless bird species. In the evening, settle into a luxury lodge with sweeping views of the savannah.
Today you descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s natural wonders. The crater floor is home to an astonishing density of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, hippos, and flamingos. After a full day of exploration, return to your lodge on the crater rim to watch the sunset.
This morning, take a scenic flight to the Serengeti. Upon landing, embark on a game drive en route to your luxurious tented camp. The Serengeti’s golden plains come alive with wildebeest, antelopes, predators, and more. Relax in the evening at your camp under the star-filled sky.
Rise early for a sunrise game drive when wildlife is most active. Search for cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and perhaps the legendary Great Migration (seasonal). Return for a late breakfast, relax at camp, and then head out again for an afternoon game drive.
Enjoy a final morning safari in the Serengeti before your flight back to Arusha. Upon arrival, transfer to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for the next phase of your journey.
After breakfast, fly from Arusha to Zanzibar. On arrival, transfer to your luxury beachfront resort. Spend the afternoon unwinding on soft white sands or swimming in the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.
Today, explore Zanzibar’s cultural heart—Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander through narrow alleys, bustling markets, and historic buildings. In the afternoon, head out on a spice tour to discover the island’s famed cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Return to your resort for dinner by the ocean.
Spend a full day at leisure, soaking up the sun or choosing from optional activities such as snorkeling, diving, or a traditional dhow sunset cruise. The island’s crystal-clear waters and coral reefs make for unforgettable experiences.
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast by the beach before your transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward flight. Bid farewell to Tanzania with memories of an incredible safari and a rejuvenating island escape.

The tour guide was so knowledgeable, charming and helpful. The park is so huge, we wish we had more days to explore, we can't wait to come back next year. Jackson Paul2024-05-18Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My wife and I did a 6 full days trip with Jovial Safaris Dickson was our guide! I would say once in a lifetime but it was so great that I plan to go back. Outside of the major goals (making it to the planned campsites) the trip was yours. If you want to watch lions stalk for 2 hours and leopards eat for 5 minutes the choice is yours. You can spend an hour watching dung beetles work. Dickson our guide shared his knowledge and was attentive to our needs. I never dreamed we would see so much in one trip. A lot is the luck of the timing (seeing a cheetah stalk, chase and take down a wildebeest for instance) but if you mention you want to see something and it's in the area Dickson will track it down. The places they chose to stay for our trip were 1st class. Never thought camping would be so nice. Meeting local Maasai and having them share their lives and views was very enlightening. I highly recommend Jovial Safari! ELISHA MHINA2024-05-11Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
